The Faculty of Arts & Science will be hosting an upcoming inaugural “Minds Redefined” Mental Health & Wellness Conference.
The conference is open to students, faculty, and staff, and aims to foster dialogue about mental health within Arts & Science. We are asking students for their personal assistance in promoting this opportunity and encouraging their undergraduate and graduate peers to attend if they are able to do so.
At the conference, we will hear from mental health experts and advocates, develop skills to promote our well-being, explore campus and community resources, and engage in rich discussions that showcase research, lived experiences, and diverse voices.
Here at the University of Toronto, we all have an important role to play in promoting mental well-being in our community. I hope you assist in promoting the conference and/or will attend, for the full conference or just a few sessions. Here are the details:
Date: Tuesday, September 17, 2019
Time: 12 to 8 pm
Location: U of T Chestnut Conference Centre
89 Chestnut Street, Toronto
Free to the U of T community
Attendees are welcome to attend the conference in full or in part.
