March 12 - Saving Strategies: Easy Concept, Difficult Reality

Description: The Financial literacy workshops are hosted by the Hart House Finance committee in partnership with CPA Canada. They are open to all UofT students. The purpose of these workshops is to further the financial education of all interested UofT students and to raise the general level of financial literacy at the University. This workshop is brought to students via Zoom. Students will develop the right mind-set to gain control over their money and achieve their financial goals.

About the Presenter

Cameron Dawson is a CMA-CPA currently employed in the Cannabis industry as a senior accountant. He has over 10 years’ experience in Finance & Accounting working in various roles and industries. He developed a strong interest in personal finance during his university years at UofM. He is excited to share some of his tips and strategies that allowed him to successfully complete university with no debt and purchase his own condo. Outside of his work in finance, he is an avid Gamer, cook, and traveler.
