October 6 – Navigating "Post-Pandemic" Life: A Creative Writing and Mindfulness Workshop

Summary of Workshop: 

Description: This mindfulness and creative writing session will address our collective transition toward “post-pandemic” life and the uncertainty surrounding this time. We will use a variety of beginner-friendly meditation techniques and writing exercises to learn stress-reduction skills, process emotional responses, practice acceptance, and get grounded in our personal beliefs and values.

About the Presenter: Jordan Weir (they/them)

Jordan Weir is a graduate student at the University of Toronto, studying an MEd in Counselling and Psychotherapy at OISE. They also have an MA in Creative Writing. They host workshops on campus that blend mindfulness meditation techniques with creative writing exercises to help lead participants toward deeper awareness, relieve stress, and explore relevant themes in our world today.
