Stop by the Grad Minds crafting station during UTGSU Winter GradFest for a fun, hands-on creative break. Create your own custom trinkets using Shrinky Dinks by drawing designs on special plastic that shrink into earrings, pins, keychains, or magnets. You can also snap a photo with friends using an instant camera and turn it into a personalized photo magnet on the spot.
This drop-in activity is open throughout the event and all materials are provided. While you craft, learn more about Grad Minds, a peer-led graduate student mental health initiative, and Elemental Magazine, U of T’s tri-campus mental health magazine. Whether you come solo or with friends, this is a low-pressure, creative way to connect, unwind, and take home something uniquely yours.
