SPARK Program

An on-campus program facilitated by the Faculty of Kinesiology and Physical Education

The UofT Secondary Prevention and Rehabilitation Kinesiology (SPARK) program is a mental health and well-being initiative started by the Faculty of Kinesiology & Physical Education. SPARK is a 10-12 week program, where UofT students experiencing high stress and/or mental health concerns, are given the opportunity to work one-on-one with a student in the Master of Professional Kinesiology (MPK) program, to execute an exercise plan (developed by MPK students), based on their goals, health, and activity levels, to improve overall health and emotional well-being.

There is no cost to participants but it does require a commitment to meeting one day/week for 10-12 weeks.

To get involved in the SPARK program, send an email to spark@utoronto.ca
